Carly is a NCBTMB Board Certified massage therapist licensed in Pennsylvania. She has been licensed since 2009, originally in Massachusetts and currently in Pennsylvania. She is a 2009 graduate of Cortiva Institute-Boston and has worked primarily with athletes and generally active people.
Carly served as the team massage therapist for the Harvard University Cross Country and Track & Field teams from 2009-2013 and for the Harvard University Men’s Soccer Team in 2012. Currently, she works with several Bucknell University athletic teams.
From March 2009 through July 2013, Carly had a private office first in Arlington, MA and later in Cambridge, MA where she worked with many athletes from the Boston running community and Harvard University athletic teams.
Carly’s work focuses on preventative maintenance, injury rehab, and recovery from hard training to help athletes stay healthy throughout their competitive seasons and rebuild during the off-season. Sessions can be a general flush or focused to a few select problem areas. She works with the client to help them achieve their goals for health and wellness.
Carly is an athlete herself, having previously competed for the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) running club and Hansons-Brooks Distance Project. She is a two-time Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon and has represented the USA at the NACAC Mountain Championships. Carly competed on the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Bucknell University from 1996-2000, where she graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She uses her own experiences with training-related injuries to help build a treatment plan for the athletes she works with.
